Edwards participated in the break-off group examining how the arts plays into our modern education system and bolsters critical thinking skills of young people.

Selected artists and showed work that explored how their sexuality interacts with the intersections of gender, race, disabilities, and class in order to name the ways in which these oppressive systems have threatened their autonomy. The goal is to turn this trauma into empowerment through media and community.
